established in 1992 with a passion for timber
From passion to excellence our Queensland Timber Flooring legacy
In 2016, current owners Mark McCafferty and Rob Crick (brothers in law), bought the business from David and Sue Smith and have continued the high quality of workmanship that has been ingrained into the business over time and today we are one of the most experienced and respected timber flooring companies in Australia.
Meet your dedicated flooring team
In addition to our installation teams, we employ 24 full time staff who all share a great enthusiasm for the timber flooring industry and provide our customers with the highest quality of service. These include sales, estimating, scheduling, accounts and warehousing/transport as well as our 4 dedicated supervisors on the road who ensure our workmanship is held to the highest of standards.
QTF is a one-stop shop for all your timber flooring needs. We provide supply only, supply and install and sand and polishing of all timber flooring. The majority of QTF’s tradesmen have been with us for over 10 years and provide the highest quality workmanship.

Our showrooms
We have 2 showrooms, one in Maroochydore, at our head office, and one at the Build and Design Centre in South Brisbane both showcasing the extensive range of solid and engineered flooring we have available. We have a 2000 m2 warehouse in Brisbane that can house up to 200,000 lineal meters of flooring and a dedicated truck and driver to ensure your timber is delivered on schedule and well protected.
Supporting community
Queensland Timber Flooring is dedicated to giving back to the community. We are a long term supporter of the Compass Institute, a local organisation which provides support to people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. In additional to this, the Compass Institute also has an assistance dog training program of which QTF has supported 2 dogs in the past 4 years. These dogs have since been placed with young people in need.
