Product Description

First Floors

First Floors is a premium engineered floor, with its slightly textured surface and modern matt oil finish it is the perfect choice for interiors of distinction.

Roasted Peat is an Australian Hardwood that has been through a thermal modification process that uses no chemicals to permanently alter the structure of the wood fibre. Frequently Asked Questions

A timber floor is harder and more durable than other surfaces. It can last a lifetime meaning less waste from renewing your flooring (unlike carpeting, which has a lifecycle of 10-15 years).

With every floor we install we provide a maintenance kit which includes floor cleaner and instructions on how to care for your floor. Some basics are to use a Ph neutral cleaner (Versadett by Peerless Jal is our recommendation and available at Bunnings) and use a damp mop, not a wet one. Regularly sweep your floor with a modacrylic dust broom to remove any grit that has the potential to scratch your floor.

Hardwood is more energy-efficient than other flooring surfaces and is a sustainable resource. Timber flooring also stores carbon within its cell structure ensuring the carbon is never released into the atmosphere.
